How Nigerian Movie Custumier Made a Costume Mistake on Queen Nwokoye
Story by Nathan Nathaniel Ekpo/Nigeriafilms.com

In a recent movie location in a village in a part of Nigeria, the custumier of the movie got it wrong at a particular point where he allowed actress, Queen Nwokoye, to wear a br3ast tube over a wrapper in a village settings movie which totally contradicts itself.
The lovely actress, though did her best at interpreting her role since it is what she is very good at but how will the lovers of Nollywood perceive the cheap error made by the stylist and the director that allowed the wrong costume dressing in a village setting?

My Real Passion for Governor Rochas Okorocha—Nkiru Silvanus
Story by Nathan Nathaniel/Nigeriafilms.com
Last Updated:
Thursday, February 26, 2015
According to her, the Governor has so far been able to reposition Imo State to an enviable position which the past governments had never achieved.
Nkiru, speaking with Leadership newspaper, blamed the various rumours of her closeness with Okorocha as propaganda from the camps of the enemies, who she said do not mean well for the state.
In her words, “Rumours are what they are, baseless rumours! The governor is my boss, but it will be unfair to see something good and not mention it. I speak passionately about him all the time, because of his good works, his belief and his passion for positive change. This is a man whom the people of Imo generally love for his good works.
“Since Okorocha became governor, the number of dualised road networks has increased, the creation of new access roads is uncountable, while the dilapidated roads have been repaired and rural roads being constructed are uncountable.
“Positive impacts have also been made in the rehabilitation of public utilities, health, agriculture, youth empowerment, infrastructure improvements, etc. I can list his achievements from now till tomorrow and it won’t end.”
Speaking on the election which was postponed, the actress noted that it was a big disappointment for the country and its democracy as everything would have been long forgotten.
“For me, it was a huge disappointment because by now, the nation would have left the corridor of uncertainty to the path of moving forward. The postponement is a big setback for the nation and democracy but anything for the peace and progress of Nigeria is okay! So we patiently await the holding of elections on the new dates,” she said.

Rita Dominic Speaks On New Mouth-Watery Deal
Story by Osaremen Ehi James/Nigeriafilms.com
Last Updated:
Monday, March 16, 2015
Less than a week after her movie ‘The
Meeting’ won a couple of awards at the 2015 AMVCA, Rita Dominic was
pictured last week, precisely on Thursday, March 12, in another meeting
alongside her manager, Mildred Okwo, at the office of Danium Energy
Services Limited, owners of Mercury Green Pointblank Pictures to sign a
new multimillion Naira movie deal, for a role in a new movie titled
‘Mary’.
You just signed a movie deal with Danium Energy Service, could you speak more about it
The movie titled ‘Mary’ is owned by Mercury Green Pointblank Pictures, a baby company of Danium Energy Company. I was contracted to act in the film as a lead. I was sent a copy of the script by Mercury Green Pointblank Pictures and I liked it.
So, I will be working with the film executives; Kingsley Ogbor and film Director, Afe Olumowe. I just got signed to be the lead actress in the film and I'm happy about it.
What are your expectations from this project
First and foremost, I need to thank Mercury Green Pointblank Production for considering me for the laudable movie. What is important to me is the story. I have been speaking with the director, Afe Olumowe and Executive Producer Kingsley Ogbor and they appear to know what they are doing.
They seem to have a good team and hopefully, I think we are going to come out with a very good project.
What's the movie all about
I don't think that the owners of the movie would want me to divulge the information for now as it's still in the pipeline, but what I can tell you is that ‘Mary’ is a Christian movie, or should I say a Christian-secular movie. More information will be revealed to you very soon.
Why did you decide to accept the role considering the fact that this movie is not your usual Nollywood secular movie
It doesn't matter at all, you know we have to tell our stories; stories that will change lives the most. Like I said earlier, I find the story quite fun and interesting. It's something fresh. It's something I have never done before. I will be playing two characters! This is going to be a bit of challenge for me but I'm up to the task.
Since I started my career, this is the kind of roles I look out for; stories that can stretch me beyond my limit. That's what I find interesting about the script.
You are sounding like you are too old in this industry?
Not trying to sound too old, but I have been doing this for 17 years. This is my 17th year and i think it will get to a point in one’s career when you don't want to accept just any scripts anymore, you become highly selective with the roles you play.
You want to be in control through selection. As you get older you just want a movie that will challenge you, and bring out another side of you. That's what I feel this movie, ‘Mary’ will do for my career.
When is the shoot starting
We are starting from the first week of next month (April), and we will be shooting for days.
Is this your first ever Christian role
Yea it is. Although I have acted occasional role as a Christian sister in one or two secular Nollywood movies, but this certainly will be my first full role in a Christian movie.
So, do you mind disclosing to us how much this contract is worth
I don't think I want to do that for security reasons. But the amount is mouth-watering. It's exciting.

Ramsey explained that as an actor, responsibility helps to attract endorsements and in achieving this, one needs to deal with his or her character and image to a level it can be well accepted by fans.
“Your responsibility attracts endorsements and involves your character and image as a role model. As a successful actor, you have a voice that you need to project in a responsible way,” he said.
Recalling his foray into the make-belief world, the actor revealed that one of the soap operas he featured in, he was being paid the sum of N80 per episode for just three months and throughout the remaining episodes, he was never paid till date.
He explained that, “Back then, when I was in Fortunes, I was paid just N80 per episode and they paid only for three months. The remaining nine months of the money, I haven’t seen till this day. So for one year of my life of Fortunes, I made only N240.”

After Me, Sarkodie Is The Best Thing That Happened To Hiplife – Obrafour + Here’s Why
— March 2, 2015
Rap icon Obrafour in an interview with Pluzz FM revealed why he gave Sarkodie his ‘crown’ in the Saa Okodie No video. The wordsmith revealed he was bias when it came to the BET winner. “I’m bias for Sarkodie but it’s not because I know him as a person but for his work ethic and how he constructs his rap. Sorry to say but sometimes he says some useless things but I got to realize those were stuff he took on as he progressed.
Because when you want him to descend into a gutter and work with him he will descend in and work. Sometimes the curse words he uses are not appropriate but he believes it will aid him to express his art better. But I don’t blame him much, society is hypocritical, we say this and that is not proper but we are the same people who will chase those same things. “The world likes nonsense.
All I want to say is Sarkodie works very hard. If you put me aside, he is the best thing that ever happened to Hiplife. God knows why he brought me, and I agree with God to some extent because God doesn’t bring one person to do everything. He brings some people to open a door for the rest to enter. So, if you see people putting in effort you must acknowledge it. “Not everyone will agree with me but I see he is doing well, and I see that if I can’t reach the promise land why I shouldn’t push him to.
He is going to do more than he’s doing now. Rap is not a competition and so I wouldn’t compare his exploits with mine. I haven’t handed a Hiplife crown to him but to me I think Sarkodie has done a lot.” He concluded.

My marriage to Akosua Agyepong died because I failed to call in 10 days - Amandzeba
Hi-life legend Amandzeba Nat Brew says his failure to call his wife Akosua Agyepong for ten days whilst on a trip to the USA cost him his 15 year-old-marriage.
The marriage between the two celebrities was one that made the headlines in the 1990s.
They were the hottest celebrity couple in the country but what caused their marriage to end after 15 years remains a mystery to many.
Well after years of keeping that close to his chest, Amandzeba for the first time disclosed exclusively to Myjoyonline.com that their marriage ended because he failed to call his wife, Akosua Agyepong for 10 days while he was away in the United States.
Narrating what he believes caused the separation, Amandzeba told Myjoyonline.com shortly after appearing on Personality Profile on Joy FM last Thursday that the phone call he took for granted about 12-years-ago laid the foundation for the divorce.
He said, “If you are going to look at it objectively, I think especially for the women, she is actually very sentimental and very emotional about the little things that we don't give too much care to. For instance if I should to travel to the United States for just ten days and I'm not able to call back home that's an issue.
“You come back and then the whole house is in tantrums and stuffs like that. Well to me, it's nothing significant but I think that to her, as a woman [it is]. Now I can understand she had a cause to worry. Ten days of absence, no call, nothing and isn't because I deliberately didn't call.
“I went to the United States during Christmas. That was about 12 years ago. If you went to the States and you are trying to call back home [and] the lines are constantly engaged for ten days that is the big deal,” the veteran musician narrated.
According to Amandzeba, although they had been together for more than ten years, he underestimated the impact of what ten days without a call will have on their marriage.
“I think she actually took a very firm decision on that because she taught that it didn't go down well with her at all. I came, we spoke about it she wanted us to separate…,” he added.
“I wouldn't put it on her at all. I will say that for the sake of her and the kids, it is my responsibility.”
Nakorex and love:
In 1992, the concept of Nakorex as a group was born. The group was made up of three members, Amandzeba Nat Brew, Akosua Agyapong and Rex Omar.
Rex was married. This paved the way for Amandzeba and Akosua, who were both single, to start a whole love life of their own.
“Things developed so as we go along and then we travelled, and we sit in the same car and we rob ourselves. She was always in the middle so she will definitely touch me,” he recounted.
One thing led to the other and the pair officially started dating in 1994. “Two years later I did very well. It took two years to do all the appraisals and then come to a conclusion that well this where I think I am going to stop.”
Amandzeba and Akosua got married soon after that. They were married for 15 years and were blessed with four kids.
For years, there had been several rumours with regards to what might have caused the group to part ways with many pointing fingers at Akosua and Amandzeba for mixing business with pleasure.
The group reunited and performed at the 10 th anniversary of Joy FM's Nite with the Stars in 2010 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Although they are divorced, Amandzeba revealed that, he still keeps in touch with Akosua, who is now married.
[If] we have [issues] so why should I miss out in the development of the kids. They love me so I can't actually betray them. I have to be around them,” he said.
Asked if he could turn back the hands of time, Amandzeba said no.

Photos – Itz Tiffany Celebrates Her Birthday In Miami With Friends
Follow @ghfilladotne in Showbiz / on March 20, 2015 at 3:39 pm /
Scandalous Ghanaian rapper-Itz Tiffany is celebrating her birthday today.
The “Spinner” hitmaker was born on 20th March 1987.
To celebrate her birthday this year, the musician has flown some of her friends to Miami, Florida according to Ghanacelebrities.com.
Considering all she went through last year, she definitely has a good reason to celebrate and hope that this year does not come with anything like what the previous fetched her.
Itz Tiffany has been hit with a number of stories in the past , the latest being the release of 3 different tapes in November 2014 showing her and her ex-boyfriend in different acts including dragging her something on the floor—claiming to be cursing her then boyfriend who was gladly recording the incident.
Last year definitely didn’t end on a good note for her, but she seem to be coming out stronger.
A birthday party in Miami is well-deserving and very necessary at this point before she heads back to Ghana.
Happy birthday to Itz Tiffany.

After starring in Kafui Danku’s latest movie titled I DO, many fans of the actress keep asking if Nana Ama McBrown is a lesbian or not.
In the movie, Nana Ama Mcbrown played a very tough role as a ghost, while her colleague actress including Jasmine Baroudi played the role of a le*bian.
Just after the premiere of the movie on 6th March 2015 inside Westhills Mall, Nana Ama McBrown was interviewed by Chucks Ineh – and in the video below, Nana Ama addressed the le*bian rumor in town.
