Exclusive Interview: David Oscar Fires Back At Yvonne Nelson “We’ve Thrown Democracy To The Dogs” (AUDIO)
Ghanaian comedian, David Oscar came under attack after he posted on his
Facebook
page that he is not going to join the #DumsorMustStop vigil slated for May 16 in Accra. Comments by many Ghanaians disagreed with his Facebook post with some insulting him. Actress Yvonne Nelson who started the #DumsorMustStop campaign on twitter questioned the nationality of the comedian due to his decision not to join the vigil. She tweeted, “What a shame! Is David Oscar Ghanaian? Does he live in Gh?”
David Oscar in an interview with Zionfelix.com on Friday evening has expressed his disappointment in some Ghanaians and actress Yvonne Nelson who have raised their mouths against him due to his comment that “dumsor must stop, but your constant whining and whimpering would not act as a magic wand. Period!”.
The comedian in the interview said that he did not insult Yvonne Nelson and Sarkodie in his post on Facebook so he finds it worrying to hear people accuse him of raining insults on the BET award-winner and the actress. Oscar continued that the ‘dumsor’ is not massive in other parts of the country as people think. He explained that his journey to different parts of the country has revealed that the low shedding exercise does not affect certain people in different parts of the country but those in the big cities.
According to him, he has the right to express his opinion as a citizen of Ghana so why should people attack his personality for exercising his rights.

Sarkodie Is Behaving Like A ‘Dog In Bolga Market’ – NDC Man
Sarkodie Is Behaving Like A ‘Dog In Bolga Market’ – NDC ManEx-convict, Stephen Atubiga has described rapper Sarkodie as a
dog
wandering in Bolgatanga market who does not know what he is about.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) sympathizer speaking on Adom FM’s Evening NewsThursday expressed disappointment in the rapper and several other celebrities who have taken it upon themselves to hold a vigil to put pressure on government to end the power crisis.
According to him, the celebrities are doing the bidding of New Patriotic Party (NPP) and believes the party’s flag bearer, Nana AKufo-Addo is the architect of their actions.
“If Sarkodie whose music I like and adore want to be a politician today, then he should come clean, if he wants to support his uncle Akufo-Addo to be president, he should come clean, no one would prevent him…but if he want to behave like a Binduri dog in a cow attire in Kumasi market, we won’t permit him at all…,” he said.
The rapper and his colleagues have planned the event to protest their dislike for the persistent power fluctuations that has led to the collapse of many companies.
Actresses, Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson and several members in the art and
entertainment
industry since the launch of #DumsorMustStop campaign to ensure an end to the energy crisis have suffered several abuses.
While Alhaji Alidu Haruna called them prostitutes and irresponsible, Stephen Atubiga believed they were doing the bidding of opposition chairman, Nana Akufo-Addo.
Atubiga who shot to fame after making disparaging comments during the 2012 election petition when he was sentenced to prison for wrong comments, argued that the celebrities are just doing that to frustrate the Mahama administration.
As a punishment for the celebrities including Sarkodie, he said he would be organizing some supporters of the NDC to burn down CDs of the celebrities.
“If a dog does not respect, it is not in the Bolga market that it would go and full…we the NDC sympathisers would burn all their CD’s and movies if they do so…,” he threatened.
He continued that the whole idea of a vigil for Dumsor is wrong questioning “who is dead for them to go and put on candle for a vigil…I ask again?”

Video: Benefits of Social Media To A Blogger + Ways Ghanaian Bloggers Make Money – Blogger Zionfelix On Joy News
by sfaceentertainment.blogspot.com | Posted on
I was on Joy News’ AM Show last Wednesday to talk about how content on social media networks can be regulated. To me, it will be very difficult for this thing to happen in our country, some people tried when a sextape leaked but it did not work. After talking about the issue, we moved on to talk about why many young Ghanaians who venture into blogging decide to write about celebrities.
We also talked about how money is made through blogging because you cannot work without earn. For now, blogging pays and there are various ways bloggers get their cash. I was on the show with Abrantepa of Radio Univers.
